Holidays
in Marsascala – An elegant resort in the
south of Malta
Marsascala has no sandy beach, with
the resort developing around a narrow
sea-inlet, and the U-shaped coastline
offering plenty of places along the rocks to
swim or sunbathe. The next bay just 1km
along the coastline, St. Thomas, is home to
a sandy beach, with shallow waters perfect
for swimming. Marsascala is a popular resort
with scuba-divers, with a good dive school
in the resort, and other water-sports
available include water-skiing and
wind-surfing. The harbour in Marsascala is
generally home to many multi-coloured
fishing boats, which adds to the beauty of
this already attractive resort, and there is
a seafront promenade, lined with a great
choice of waterfront cafes and bars, which
leads into St. Thomas Bay.
